The Digital portfolio manager position spans multiple IT disciplines and requires a high level of development skills and project management methodologies to ensure successful outcomes.

Along with the project management roles I provide direction to the development team to enhance web based portals, intranets and extranets to accept orders from the sales force and deploy information to the sales force, customers, management, and supporting departments.

As a developer and product owner, I’m responsible for the project backlog and ensuring positive user experience while unifying the marketing goals with stakeholder expectations. I have to translate stakeholders strategy into actionable tasks and work in a cross-functional role to execute requirements and work with our other IT Teams.

I manage the Azure DevOps service which runs all our digital products and monitor the service for uptimes and storage maintenance. Analytics and strategy are interlaced with the development role and require a high level of google analytic knowledge and reporting.

The web developer role was a part of a 7-person development team which maintained and developed the main customer facing petsmart.com web site which sales just under $800 million in revenue per year, as well as internal web sites.
Main responsibilities included:
  • Code and publish weekly promotional content on Demandware platform that supports desktop and responsive designed mobile web
  • Perform extensive technical quality assurance (especially in the area of cross browser compatibility and page load performance)
  • Build front end code for special projects that requires more advance and complex coding
  • Attend business meetings to provide technical guidance and propose maintainable digital solutions for business managers
  • Reliably provide support tasks and complete projects outside of normal work hours when needed
